FIFTH WEEK OF FIRST PHASE TEACHING PRACTICE

Monday

 Today we reached the school at 9:25 a.m. After signing the attendance we went to the staff room. Today I got 4th and 6th period in 8th standard. I taught them about reaction of metals with acids and corrosion of metals from the chapter 'Metals'. I taught them balancing of chemical equations and gave all the notes. We served the lunch at noon and we left the school at 4:00 p.m.

 Tuesday

 Today we reached the school at the 9:20 a.m. I wondered about the duration of this school time. Today is a lag day for me. I took classes for 8th and 9th standard on 6th and 4th period respectively. We served the food at noon. While I was eating food I saw a falling on the ground and started crying. Then a teacher came, beated him and took him to the class. I went to std 2 to look after the students while the teachers were busy with other works. We left the school at 4:00 p.m.

 Wednesday

 Today was a great day. I got class for 8th standard in the 6th period. Students seemed happy today thinking of the holiday they have tomorrow. Niranjan and Athira got first and second prize for Nadanpattu and acring on school youth festival. We served the food to the students and left the school at 4:00 pm.

 Friday

 Today we reached the school at 9:30 a.m. I got class on 8th standard in 6th and 9th standard in 2nd period. Forb8th standard, I taught concentration of solution from the chapter. For 9th standard I gave some problems and their solutions. We served food at noon and left the school at 4:00 p.m.

Today, I took classes for 8th-standard students in the second and fifth periods. REPORT ON INNOVATIVE WORK SEMESTER 4

  The innovative work on the topic Non-Metals and Their Reactions' was successful as it helped to arouse curiosity and engagement among students. After learning the basic concepts, students found it challenging to recall the different reactions of non-metals, so I decided to introduce an interactive method to reinforce their understanding.   On 17/01/2025  (FRIDAY), I conducted a session for my class using a Riddle Book on Non-Metals and Their Reactions. The book contained a series of riddles related to the properties, uses, and chemical reactions of non-metals. Each riddle provided clues that led to the identification of a non-metal and its reaction.   To make the session more interactive, I divided the students into small groups and distributed the riddle book among them.
