SEVENTH WEEK OF SECOND PHASE TEACHING PRACTICE

Monday

Today I reached the school at 9.30 am and signed the attendance register. I have only one period today for 8th standard. I taught them about the formation of images in concave mirrors from the chapter 'Reflection in spherical mirrors'. Served the meal at noon and left the school at 4 pm.

Tuesday

Today I reached the school at 9:30 am and signed the attendance register. I taught about image formation in concave and convex mirrors form the chapter 'Reflection in spherical mirrors' for class 8. Served the meal at noon as usual and left the school at 4 pm.

22/01/2025

Wednesday

Today I reached school at 9.30 am and signed the attendance register as usual. Today I have only one period for 8th standard in which I took classes on magnification and uses of spherical mirrors from the chapter 'Reflection in spherical mirrors'. Served the meal at noon and left the school at 4 pm.

23/01/2025

Thursday

Today I reached the school at 9:30 am and signed the attendance register. Today, I conducted a diagnosis test for the 8th standard to assess which portions are difficult for them. The diagnosis test was conducted from the chapter 'Reflection in spherical mirrors'. We served the meal at noon and left the school at 4 pm.

Friday

I reached the school at 9.30 am today and signed the attendance register as usual. Today is the last day of the second phase of teaching practice at GHS, Kunnam. I conducted an achievement test for 9th standard from the chapter 'Non-metals' to evaluate them on their studies. Then I took remedial teaching for 8th standard to clarify their difficult areas. We served meal at noon and left the school at 4 pm.

Today, I took classes for 8th-standard students in the second and fifth periods. REPORT ON INNOVATIVE WORK SEMESTER 4

  The innovative work on the topic Non-Metals and Their Reactions' was successful as it helped to arouse curiosity and engagement among students. After learning the basic concepts, students found it challenging to recall the different reactions of non-metals, so I decided to introduce an interactive method to reinforce their understanding.   On 17/01/2025  (FRIDAY), I conducted a session for my class using a Riddle Book on Non-Metals and Their Reactions. The book contained a series of riddles related to the properties, uses, and chemical reactions of non-metals. Each riddle provided clues that led to the identification of a non-metal and its reaction.   To make the session more interactive, I divided the students into small groups and distributed the riddle book among them.
