SIXTH WEEK OF SECOND PHASE TEACHING PRACTICE

Monday

I reached the school at 9:30 am today and signed the attendance register as usual. Today I have a period each for 8th and 9th standard. I taught the eighth standard about ultrasonic waves and noise pollution from the chapter 'Sound'. The 9th std students were taught with the preparation of oxygen from the chapter 'Non-metals'. We served the meal at noon and left the school at 4 pm.

Tuesday

Today I reached the school at 9.30 am and signed the attendance register. I taught about the uses of oxygen from the chapter 'Non-metals' for the ninth standard. I started a new chapter for 8th standard today. A new topic principal focus of spherical mirrors was taught from the chapter 'Reflection in spherical mirrors'. Served meal for the students at noon and left the school at 4 pm.

Wednesday

Today I reached the school at 9:30 am and signed the attendance register. I have only one period for the ninth standard in which I taught them about chlorine from the chapter 'Non-metals'. Served the meal at noon for students as usual and left the school at 4 pm.

16/01/2025

Thursday

I reached the school at 9:30 am today and signed the attendance register. I took classes on the bleaching action of chlorine from the chapter 'Non-metals' for 9th standard. Then I taught about focal length and focal plane from the chapter 'Reflection in spherical mirrors' for class 8. After that, we served the noon meal for students. Finally, I left the school at 4 pm.

I reached the school at 9:30 am and signed the attendance register as usual. Today I have a period for the 9th only. There I taught about the uses of chlorine from the chapter 'Non-metals'. We served the meal for the students at noon. I left the school at 4 pm.

REPORT ON INNOVATIVE WORK SEMESTER 4

  The innovative work on the topic Non-Metals and Their Reactions' was successful as it helped to arouse curiosity and engagement among students. After learning the basic concepts, students found it challenging to recall the different reactions of non-metals, so I decided to introduce an interactive method to reinforce their understanding.   On 17/01/2025  (FRIDAY), I conducted a session for my class using a Riddle Book on Non-Metals and Their Reactions. The book contained a series of riddles related to the properties, uses, and chemical reactions of non-metals. Each riddle provided clues that led to the identification of a non-metal and its reaction.   To make the session more interactive, I divided the students into small groups and distributed the riddle book among them. Each group had to solve the riddles by identifying the correct non-metal and explaining the reaction associated with it. As they solved each riddle, they wrote down the chemical equation...
